Health Programs as differentials in corporations

Did you know that the benefits package is one of the biggest attractions in corporations?

And that these benefits are the main reason why the professional stays in the company?

That's exactly what a survey conducted by Fintech Onze, with 2,095 employees under CLT and 1,096 HR professionals from all over Brazil, for 62% of respondents these attractions are the most important to stay at work. (Source Valor Econômico, February 2023)

The survey highlights that companies that maintain "common" benefits are not seeing other important needs related to productivity, competitiveness, talent attraction and employee retention, these are considered impacts that can compromise the company in the long term.

Effective benefits are those that start from the needs of the workers, hence the importance of professionals who can act in the survey of these needs and in the efficient elaboration of these benefits together with the companies.

Research shows that flexible benefits and physical, emotional and cognitive health programs are among the initiatives companies are most looking to implement in 2023.

In practice, some benefits may include: help with the fertilization journey, paid leave for the acquisition or loss of pets, continuous updates on topics related to individual needs, sports activities, yoga, meditation, emotional health practices, not to mention the benefits of financial subsidy for language courses, postgraduate graduation and MBA.

Another relevant data is in relation to the health plan, which was a decisive factor in 68% of the interviewees when accepting or not a vacancy, some companies go deep in the health care of their employees. When a worker or their dependents are diagnosed with a serious illness, they are referred to specialists and receive all the necessary support, including financial support.
Such actions certainly generate a sense of belonging and embracement that are so necessary for effective performance and productivity.

For both physiotherapists, ergonomists and professionals in the field, this can be a great opportunity to work with institutions. I will soon be announcing my training course with an emphasis on health programs.

Kisses and until the next post.
